‘Smooth and Flawless’: That’s How EB Projects Describes Our Service
As the name suggests, EB Projects focuses on the project market. From their site in Herentals, they produce large volumes of custom furniture for the healthcare and social housing sectors. From nursing home rooms to nurses’ stations and from kitchens to grand cafés, everything is locally crafted in Herentals.
Specializing in large-scale production, EB Projects requires a well-organized production facility. In 2009, they found the perfect fit with Bolckmans Group. Managing Director Frank Geerts takes us back in time: “We used to be just a stone’s throw from our current location, but at the time, we operated from three separate locations for production, showroom, and storage. That’s why we started looking for a new, larger unit nearby to consolidate everything under one roof.”
Through a real estate agency, EB Projects connected with Bolckmans Group, which at the time had plans to construct a new building just 300 meters from their old location. EB Projects joined the planning discussions and found their new home with Bolckmans Group. “We had significant input during the planning process. Initially, this unit wasn’t designed for production, but we sat at the table, and Bolckmans Group adapted to meet our needs,” recalls Geerts.
More than a decade into their partnership with Bolckmans Group, EB Projects continued to grow, prompting the need for additional space. Geerts shares: “We’ve experienced significant growth, and our production space became too small. I’m grateful to Bolckmans Group that over the years, we’ve been able to rent three additional units (two for production and one for storage) within this building.”
