Bolckmans Group: A Key Link in the Jugetra Story
With a size of 18.000 m², 22 loading docks, and office space, Bolckmans Group’s unit in Olen perfectly met Jugetra’s requirements. After a few minor adjustments, Jugetra was ready to start operations. “The building was empty when we arrived, so we installed racks with a capacity for 23,000 pallets. Bolckmans Group replaced the roof and installed solar panels before we moved in,” explains Managing Director Wim Gorts.
Sustainability is central to Bolckmans Group’s approach. In addition to solar panels, the company installed its first wind turbine a few years ago, located right next to Jugetra’s building. Gorts highlights the importance of this sustainable initiative: “Sustainability is crucial today. With rising costs, alternative energy—especially renewable energy—becomes increasingly important.”
Under the wind turbine and solar panels, Jugetra serves its customers with cross-docking, medium-term storage, and long-term storage. The adjoining offices enable the team to work quickly and efficiently. As a landlord, Bolckmans Group supports its tenants wherever possible. “The great strength of Bolckmans Group is their excellent team. They respond quickly and are a true asset for us—a key link in the Jugetra story,” concludes Gorts.
