A&D appreciates our personal approach

The story of A&D began in Zandhoven in a 150m2 unit, but it quickly became too small. Filip and François were forced to look for a new, larger unit. Their eye fell on a newly built 570m2 unit at the back of the Maalderij, the home base of Bolckmans Group. 'Space was important to us. We started with one combiner, a second-hand panel saw and a small second-hand van. Now we already have three vans,' says Andries. Filip Daems adds: ‘We wanted to invest in bigger machines. A machine like this measures eight by eight metres and weighs eight tonnes. So we needed more space and we also wanted to build a larger stock.'
A&D found its ideal new home in Brecht, and that in a brand new unit with a roof full of solar panels. For maintenance and follow-up, the firm is in close contact with Bolckmans Group. François is very satisfied: ‘The cooperation with Bolckmans Group is going wonderfully well. I can't say anything wrong about it. Maintenance is smooth. They have a person who follows everything up. If we have any needs, they are followed up quickly. Bolckmans Group has a very personal approach.'
